Artwork Statement-Left hand Series

This painting is part of the artist’s left-hand series, created by intentionally using the non-dominant hand. By painting this way, the artist let go of control and structure, choosing freedom over precision. The method allows the work to feel spontaneous and honest, showing shapes and colors as they naturally arrive rather than being tightly planned.

The scene presents a suburban street reduced to bold, simple forms. Houses, trees, and pathways are expressed with flat blocks of vivid color, giving the landscape an almost playful rhythm. The strong red road leading upward becomes a central path, guiding the viewer into a world of brightness and possibility. What might seem ordinary at first glance is reimagined as something full of energy, joy, and new life.

Philosophically, the painting reflects the belief that images do not need strict rules to speak clearly. Even without detail or structure, viewers can still connect and feel the essence of the scene in their own way. The work suggests that beauty often comes when control is released, and that imperfection can lead to deeper meaning. In this way, the painting becomes both a celebration of freedom and a reminder to see life with openness and trust.
